i think people should get involved in their government and the government should not forget it's power was given by the people
people need to know where their taxes are going, this should be made public for all to see
about immigration: i think the undocumented kids that get good grades in school and have a clean background show that they deserve the opportunity, but those who have a long history of defying the law or have committed really serious crimes show that they don't want the opportunity
i think there's a lot of people that have something good to contribute to society, they just need to learn how , but more importantly, be given the opportunity like your parents, grandparents, or great grandparents. think about it, ur a little from germany and came here illegaly and come here with your parents illegaly, and you guys work and you get good grades and maybe want to go to college. well, when you grow up, you can't get a licence, or a job, or pursue a higher education and you're really good at chemistry (which is what this nation needs). basically your stuck where you are. how will you even live? sooner or later you're going to have get a job to eat even though it may be deemed "illegal" by others. you have to give people a chance. by giving this person a legal status, and making him earn it(as if he didn't already)if you want to by going to the army, but then the question comes up as i'm writing this who are you to deny another person the pursuit of happiness? only God can do that. anyways, i'm gonna go eat some chips. see ya.
The dialogue regarding both
The dialogue regarding both illegal aliens and gay marriage is indeed difficult to answer...I just feel that if you come to my country, enjoy the fruits of your labor by having the opportunity here-not there- sign the guest book on your way in..If, on the other hand, I am going to be treated disrespectfully by the rant about "I owe you anything".or that I stole this land from your people,forget about it..I ain't listening...The thing about gay marriage is more vexing because the reason for it is far more involved than just getting a State Sanctioned Marriage license..It's about insurance..it's about issues involving more than what we are being told..Always a cost factor in there somewhere..Frankly, I say what right do I have to derclare the morality of two people who say they love each other...Everyone deserves his or her fair shot at happiness and joy..God knows there are enough people out there that would rob even these basic rights from us if they could...I believe it when a gay person says that they are born that way..How else would you explain..if it were a choise - why anyone would put up with the life that gay people endure..Once again just don't try to force feed me on how I should react and feel about your pronouncement .
on gay marriage
the whole thing really throws me off because if you're against it, you're denying another human being the right to be happy and basically liberty. how would you like someone to tell you you can't get married to the person you love? but then the Bible tells you it's wrong, but then again the it's kind of weird sometimes. what if you're born that way? some people say they are and some say gay people choose to be gay. frankly i have no idea. but im a christian, (and not really devoted or pious or anything,) so i guess i don't really have an opinion.
does anybody ever write back? i have a blog in yahoo. im really supposed to be doing my homework, but hey, i have like 6 hours for that. can anybody halp me with my homework? that would be awsome!! if you could just log on and get get your homework done. yes i ate those chips. those were some good chips. mmm.
