JoeInclusive with James Hoge, Editor of Foreign Affairs
A special evening of cocktails and coversation with James Hoge, Editor of Foreign Affairs.
Hosted by our board member, Andrew Schorr, and limited to twenty guests, the JoeInclusive is our chance to thank our most devoted supporters with what we know they'd appreciate best - a conversation with one of the country's most eminent thought leaders.
For our first JoeInclusive, we are honored to welcome James Hoge, who not only edits perhaps the nation's premier policy magazine - but, if he were running for office, would win the "sit and have beer with" contest any day of the week. We have asked Mr. Hoge to speak briefly about the foreign policy issue that is most on his mind October 24, to be followed by an open conversation with our guests.
More on Mr. Hoge: James Hoge is Editor of Foreign Affairs, a bi-monthly magazine of analysis and commentary on international affairs and US foreign policy. Prior to joining Foreign Affairs in 1992, he spent three decades in newspaper journalism as a Washington correspondent, then editor and publisher of The Chicago Sun-Times and finally as publisher and president of The New York Daily News. He has been a Fellow at Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government, the Freedom Forum Media Center at Columbia University and on the American Political Science Association's Congressional program. He is Chairman of the International Center for Journalists, a director of Human Rights Watch, and a director of the Center for Global Affairs at New York University.
This event is open to JoeGovs, JoeSecs and Founding Fathers. Individual tickets are also available, dependent on availability, for $200 - and can be purchased online.
