The NYC JoeBooks club hits its third read, this time taking in Jason Furman's recommendation, The Myth of the Rational Voter - which tells us how we're all, by nature, bad economists.

Jason's not the only one who says it's a must-read; the Economist dug it, as did blogger/Harvard economist guru Greg Mankiw. Not everyone's raving though; Louis Menand gave it a rant at the New Yorker.

Any way you slice its 200 pages, it's sure to give us something to talk about.
